I am a keen genealogist who has been researching his family history since 1997, I write the genealogy blog Ancestral Wormhole.
My home town is Chester in the county of Cheshire (England, UK). I enjoy exploring the history of the local area which has its origins in Roman times.
Due to redundancy I had the opportunity to retire early – I jumped at the chance! Hence I can now spend more time digging for my family tree roots and growing the branches. I also devote time helping family and friends develop their genealogy and family history. On the family front I have recently become a grandfather and am looking forward to spending time playing with my new grandson.
I started blogging on 14 February 2011. Please check out my other blog at www.ancestralwormhole.com where you will find my ramblings about my family history and other related subjects. I share research, explore genealogy tools and comment on family history news. I must also admit to being a bit of a gadget geek!
